Michelob Ultra Bar - Part II

Feb, 26, 2016

By: Chris Gordon

I was told the first half of this blog was long winded so now that all the important items are out of the way, we can hopefully keep this half exciting, short and sweet. When we left off we were just about to start the build process. This to me is one of the most rewarding times of the process. This is when you get to actually watch this thing that you poured hours of time and energy into start to form and develop. It truly is like having an image come to life right out of the computer screen. The closest thing I can compare it to is watching your children grow up. You try to use anything and everything at your disposal to make them the best they can possibly be as they grow and mature and then you sit back and watch what they can turn into over time. Below I have included photos from throughout the build process as well as a corresponding shot from our final model that I ended the first blog with. So without further ado let’s jump right in:

Here you can see the earliest buildout shot. The unit is just a metal skeleton, but you can already see the foundation being laid for what it is to become.

The Center Piece, the main bar coming together during the build process.

More of the interior starting to take shape as well as the staircase leading up to the roofdeck.

Her and I spending some quality time together on her trial run day. First day outside of the build bay!

Now it was time for her to become the Piece de Resistance! (That’s the only French I know). Here she is in all her glory at the first event in Dallas, TX where she was unveiled for the first time to the entire Anheuser-Busch family. Like a proud dad, I’m happy to say she was met with rave reviews and is currently setting the standard and carrying on a great tradition as Build-A Bar 2.0. Look out for her in your town and be sure to pay her a visit, she always has an Ice Cold Michelob Ultra waiting for you. For me it’s off to start it all over again. Here’s to hoping I can WOW myself once again. Until next time, thanks for stopping by!

"IMAGINE had a wonderful experience utilizing the services of HMS Worldwide for our most recent trade show display. We were able to convey our booth’s theme and vision, creating a custom exhibit that fit exactly with what we were looking to accomplish. The HMS team was quick to respond and kept in constant contact from the initial design process all the way through post-show follow-up. Whenever an issue arose, HMS took care of the problem and offered solutions on the spot to make sure everything continued to flow smoothly while providing a superior level of service for our company. It was a pleasure working with a team that understood our concerns and did everything possible to create a flawless event from start to finish. The show was a success for our staff, clients and partners, and we look forward to collaborating again on future opportunities."
